IANCON 2026

Honoured to participate as a faculty member at IANCON 2026, the 33rd Annual Conference of the Indian Academy of Neurology, in Jaipur—an opportunity to learn, exchange ideas and reconnect with the neurology fraternity.
I had the privilege of serving as Convener for the session “Evolving Concepts in Acute Ischemic Stroke Management” and presenting on two important topics:
🔹 Posterior Circulation ASPECTS: Role of Mechanical Thrombectomy
Exploring how imaging and clinical assessment guide treatment decisions in posterior circulation stroke.
🔹 Therapeutic Apheresis: The Evolving Role of Plasma Exchange in Neurology—Case Vignettes
Discussing the evidence and practical considerations for therapeutic plasma exchange through clinical cases.

Preparing and presenting these talks offered an opportunity to examine evolving evidence and reflect on the decisions we make for our patients every day.
Beyond the scientific sessions, meeting teachers, friends and colleagues made the experience especially memorable.
My sincere thanks to the organisers, session chairpersons and fellow faculty members for the opportunity and engaging discussions.
